Photography, to me, is a journey through light and fleeting moments we often overlook. From the vibrant chaos of the bazaar to the quiet mystery of hidden alleys, from the passion of Ashura to the rhythm of ordinary street life, and from grand architecture to unnoticed details in shadow. Each image tells a unique story of a world we've seen before—but never quite like this. This collection invites you to see the familiar with new eyes.
This painting collection is an inner journey through imagination, color, and symbolism—where ink lines and mixed media blur the edge of reality. From borderless mind games to dreams played for the soul, each work whispers from the subconscious. Here, dreams dance in color, and the White Nights of Eden glow with a silent, eternal light. Every piece invites you to feel what cannot be said, but can forever be seen.
About me
From an early age, Behshad demonstrated a deep connection to the arts beginning a record collection at just eighteen months old. Although music was the artist’s first passion, by the age of 21 it became clear that pursuing it professionally would not be feasible. This realization led to a shift toward visual arts.
After a brief period of formal academic training Behshad found mentorship under a respected artist and architect H.Seyhoon who played a pivotal role in guiding his creative development. Early artistic exploration was marked by experimentation with a variety of styles influenced by admired figures, culminating in the emergence of a distinct visual language in 2008.
Despite the shift in medium, music has remained a central, enduring influence—not in terms of sound, but translated into lines, forms, and colors that pulse throughout the artist’s visual work.
In the endless noise of everyday life, art becomes a refuge—a way to see, feel, and understand the most unspoken emotions. Photographs and paintings are words poured onto canvas and light. Each frame hides a piece of dream or reality within. Here, stories are told without sound, yet they stay in the mind forever.
